The Mohawk hard-floor lines we carry

Mohawk is not one kind of floor. Its hard-floor lines run from luxury vinyl and a PVC-free alternative to it, to laminated wood and engineered hardwood. These are the hard-floor lines we carry, described the way Mohawk describes them.

SolidTech
Mohawk's luxury vinyl line. The Explorer's Cove, Founder's Trace and Discovery Ridge collections we carry are SolidTech rigid vinyl plank with a click installation.
PureTech
A PVC-free resilient floor made in America. Mohawk sells it as an alternative to luxury vinyl plank, not as vinyl, and says it has 70% total recycled content.
RevWood
Mohawk's laminated wood floor, made in the USA, with the look of hardwood and the performance of laminate.
TecWood
Mohawk's engineered hardwood, with the color, grain and texture of natural hardwood.

How to Buy

Three ways to buy Mohawk from us

Mohawk is the main brand we carry, and you can buy it three ways. You can buy the floor from us and have our crew install it. You can have us install Mohawk flooring you bought somewhere else. Or you can buy it from us and install it yourself or hire your own crew. For RevWood, TecWood and PureTech, Mohawk says its written installation instructions are available from the retailer or on its website, so if you are installing one of those yourself, ask us for the instructions for your line. Financing is available through Synchrony. Our showroom at 7949 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 106, Jacksonville, is open by appointment only. Installation

Why the installation decides the warranty

Mohawk's warranties depend on how the floor is installed, and the wording changes from line to line. For RevWood, TecWood and PureTech, the warranty covers the floor when it is properly installed according to Mohawk's written installation instructions. For SolidTech, Mohawk's installation instructions say the floor must be installed as written so as not to void the applicable warranties. That is why a supervising team leader is on every Mohawk install we do.

What Mohawk's instructions ask for

Over concrete, Mohawk's instructions for RevWood, PureTech, TecWood and SolidTech each set moisture limits for the slab and call for the test results to be recorded. Mohawk calls SolidTech 100% waterproof, but its January 2025 SolidTech warranty document limits the waterproof warranty to topical water, not moisture coming up from below the floor, so a SolidTech floor over a slab still needs the slab tested.

Warranty

Our warranty is separate from Mohawk's

Mohawk's RevWood, TecWood and PureTech warranties do not extend to installer workmanship, and for RevWood and TecWood, damage that happens during transportation or installation is excluded too. Our own warranty sits alongside Mohawk's and depends on who supplied the material. If you buy the material from us and we install it, you get 2 years on material and 2 years on labor. If we install material you supplied, it is 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date. If you bought SolidTech from us and find a defect, Mohawk's warranty has you notify the retailer who sold it, and that retailer reviews it and, if needed, files the claim with Mohawk.

Mohawk flooring — frequently asked questions

Mr. Wright Flooring is an authorized Mohawk retailer in Jacksonville. We carry Mohawk's SolidTech luxury vinyl, including the Explorer's Cove, Founder's Trace and Discovery Ridge collections, and RevWood laminated wood. We also carry PureTech, which Mohawk sells as a PVC-free alternative to vinyl plank rather than as vinyl. The showroom is by appointment; call (904) 443-9473.

Mohawk's own planning steps have you contact a retailer for a flooring quote, and its website points people who aren't ready to install a floor themselves toward a local pro. As an authorized Mohawk retailer, we can sell you the floor, install it, or both.

Mohawk makes very different floors, from SolidTech luxury vinyl to RevWood laminated wood and TecWood engineered hardwood. Its SolidTech, RevWood, TecWood and PureTech warranties depend on installation to Mohawk's written instructions.

They come from the same company. Mohawk Industries lists Pergo among its own flooring brands, alongside Mohawk. Pergo's floors include laminate and luxury vinyl. We carry both.

Mohawk publishes separate written installation instructions for RevWood, PureTech, SolidTech and TecWood, and the steps differ. SolidTech's moisture limits for concrete, for example, are not the same as RevWood's or PureTech's. For those lines, Mohawk's warranties depend on the floor being installed to the instructions for the product you bought.

Not for RevWood, TecWood or PureTech: those Mohawk warranties do not extend to installer workmanship. Our own warranty covers labor, at 2 years on material and labor when you buy the material from us and we install it, or 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date when we install material you supplied.

There is no single answer. Mohawk's warranty terms change by product line, and sometimes by collection within a line. For RevWood, TecWood and PureTech, Mohawk says the warranties for each product line are marked on the samples at the authorized retailer when you buy. Ask us which terms apply to the floor you are considering.
