Professional Installation
Already bought your floor? Our craftsmen will install it — to the same standard, and inside the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
Plenty of people buy their own flooring. A contractor sourced it, a big-box store had the deal, it came with the house, or it has been sitting in the garage since a project stalled. Finding someone good to install it is the hard part. We will install material you already own, with the same crews, the same subfloor preparation and the same supervision as any other job we take.
What Our Clients Say
Unedited reviews from Northeast Florida homeowners. We hold a 5.0 rating across 40 Google reviews — the highest of any flooring company in the local market.
Why Choose Professional Installation
The same craftsmen, the same standard
This is not a lesser tier of service. You get the same professionally trained craftsmen, the same subfloor assessment and preparation, the same supervising team leader, and the same clean-up and walkthrough. The only difference is where the material came from. We handle hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, tile and carpet — whatever you bought, installed the way its manufacturer specifies.
- Full subfloor assessment, flattening and preparation included
- Removal and haul-away of your existing floor if you need it
- Every project is supervised by an experienced team leader who keeps the install inside the manufacturer's warranty guidelines
- Written, itemized estimate before any work begins

Protecting the warranty on material you already paid for
This matters more on a supply-your-own job than on any other. Manufacturer warranties are conditional on the installation following published guidelines — moisture limits, acclimation, expansion gaps, underlayment, fastener schedules, substrate tolerances. If the install does not meet them, the warranty on flooring you have already bought is worth nothing, and you will not discover that until you try to claim. We install to the specification for your specific product, and we will tell you before we start if what you have bought is not suitable for the room or the subfloor you want it in.
- Installation to your product's published guidelines
- Moisture testing before installation over any slab
- Honest assessment if the material is wrong for the room
- Guidance on quantities and transitions before you buy, if you ask early
Our Professional Installation Process
Free in-home estimate
We come out, measure the actual rooms, and look at what is under your current floor. Measuring off a floor plan is how jobs end up short on material.
Moisture and subfloor check
We test the slab or subfloor for moisture and check it for flatness before anything is ordered. In this climate that reading decides which products are safe to install.
Written estimate
You get the material, the labor, the removal and haul-away, and the prep work itemized — so you can see what you are paying for and compare it honestly.
Removal and subfloor prep
Old flooring comes out and leaves with us. We flatten and prepare the subfloor first, because every flooring failure we get called to fix started underneath.
Installation and walkthrough
Our craftsmen install, clean up as they go, and walk the finished floor with you before the crew leaves.

Professional Installation — Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. That is exactly what this service is. Material from a big-box store, an online supplier, another contractor or your own garage — we will install it to the same standard as anything we supply ourselves.
It is quoted as its own scope: the installation, the subfloor preparation, and the removal and haul-away if you need it. You get it in writing and itemized after we have measured on site and looked at what is under your current floor.
It happens often, because most people order to the room's square footage without allowing for cuts, waste and pattern. We measure before the job starts, so if the quantity is short you find out with time to order more rather than with the crew standing in your living room.
Buying it yourself does not, but installing it incorrectly does. Manufacturer warranties are conditional on the installation meeting their published guidelines. Every project we take is supervised specifically to keep the work inside those guidelines — which matters most when you have already paid for the flooring.
Yes, before we install it rather than after. If you have bought a product that is not rated for a slab, or laminate for a bathroom, we would rather have an awkward conversation at the consultation than install something we know is going to fail.
