Unedited reviews from Northeast Florida homeowners. We hold a 5.0 rating across 40 Google reviews — the highest of any flooring company in the local market.
Callahan-area homes come in more than one kind
Across the Callahan-Hilliard area of Nassau County, about 35 percent of homes are mobile homes, more than double the countywide share of about 16 percent. Inside town limits, most homes are detached single-family houses.
Whichever kind of home you have, our free in-home measure is the place to start, and it's where you can talk through Mohawk's vinyl and PVC-free options with us.
SolidTech and PureTech
As an authorized Mohawk retailer, we carry SolidTech, Mohawk's luxury vinyl line. Explorer's Cove and Founder's Trace are SolidTech Select collections and Discovery Ridge is a SolidTech Essentials collection, all three rigid vinyl planks that click together, and Explorer's Cove and Discovery Ridge come with attached underlayment. Mohawk sells Explorer's Cove and Founder's Trace as 100% waterproof and easy to clean, with All Pet stain protection and lifetime WetProtect waterproof warranties.
PureTech takes a different approach. Mohawk makes it in America as a PVC-free resilient floor, an alternative to luxury vinyl plank, with 70% total recycled content and zero PVC, and calls it petproof, waterproof and planet-friendly.
Installed the way Mohawk specifies
We install SolidTech to Mohawk's installation instructions, which Mohawk says is what keeps the applicable warranties in force, and an experienced team leader supervises every job.
Mohawk's warranty takes care of Mohawk's planks. Our own warranty takes care of the work: if we supply and install your vinyl plank, you get 2 years on material and 2 years on labor, and if we install planks you bought elsewhere, you get 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date.
Ways to buy vinyl plank
We can supply the planks and install them, install planks you already own, or sell you the material to lay yourself or with your own crew. Estimates and in-home measures are free, and you can browse our selections at the Jacksonville showroom, 7949 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 106, by appointment.
How a Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring Job Runs
No surprises and no pressure. Here is exactly what happens, in the order it happens.
Free in-home estimate
We come out, measure the actual rooms, and look at what is under your current floor. Measuring off a floor plan is how jobs end up short on material.
Moisture and subfloor check
We test the slab or subfloor for moisture and check it for flatness before anything is ordered. In this climate that reading decides which products are safe to install.
Written estimate
You get the material, the labor, the removal and haul-away, and the prep work itemized — so you can see what you are paying for and compare it honestly.
