Installation for St. Augustine homes of every era
The median St. Augustine home was built around 1980, and the city's housing spans every decade from before 1940 through the 2020s.
Whatever decade your house comes from, if the flooring is already bought, our job is to install it well.

The floors we install and the size of the job
Whether you bring hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, tile or carpet, we install it. We'll take a job as small as a single room, since we set no minimum job size, though an $800 minimum payment does apply.
"Reaching out to a pro is a great solution," Mohawk tells shoppers who don't feel ready to do the job themselves, adding that a local pro can help with the planning as well as the install.
Who covers what
A Mohawk warranty protects the product. For RevWood, TecWood and PureTech, Mohawk's brochures spell out that coverage does not extend to installer workmanship and that the floor has to be installed to Mohawk's written instructions. Our installation warranty is built for that work. Flooring you supply gets 1 year on material and 1 year on labor, starting on the installation date. Buy the flooring from us and have us install it, and the coverage rises to 2 years on material and 2 years on labor.
Mohawk's TecWood instructions put the color, finish and style check before installation, and say to contact the seller right away if the material isn't acceptable. On every job, an experienced team leader makes sure the installation stays within the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.

If you haven't bought flooring yet
Not everyone arrives with flooring in hand. You can also buy your floor from us and have us install it, or buy it from us and lay it yourself or with your own crew. Whichever route you choose, the estimate and in-home measure are free, and our Jacksonville showroom at 7949 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 106, is open by appointment.
How a Professional Installation Job Runs
No surprises and no pressure. Here is exactly what happens, in the order it happens.
Free in-home estimate
We come out, measure the actual rooms, and look at what is under your current floor. Measuring off a floor plan is how jobs end up short on material.
Moisture and subfloor check
We test the slab or subfloor for moisture and check it for flatness before anything is ordered. In this climate that reading decides which products are safe to install.
Written estimate
You get the material, the labor, the removal and haul-away, and the prep work itemized — so you can see what you are paying for and compare it honestly.
