Mohawk's instructions call for its wood floors to sit in the home for at least 72 hours before installation, once the HVAC, windows and building envelope are finished and working. On every job, an experienced team leader is in charge and keeps the work within the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
Mohawk's TecWood warranty is a warranty on the flooring, and Mohawk's wood warranty brochure states that its warranties do not extend to installer workmanship. That work is what our installation warranty covers. If the floor comes from us, you get 2 years on material and 2 years on labor. If you bought the engineered hardwood elsewhere, you get 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date.
