RevWood, our Mohawk laminate, is billed by Mohawk as premium laminated wood floors. RevWood Plus and RevWood Premier come with Mohawk's WetProtect warranty. It covers everyday household spills, pet accidents, and steam, wet or damp mopping, and it also covers the subfloor when topical moisture gets through a properly installed joint. RevWood Select has Mohawk's Waterproof warranty, and Mohawk says the floor resists everyday spills and pet accidents and handles damp or wet mopping.
Pergo appears on Mohawk Industries' own list of flooring brands, so it comes from the same family as RevWood. Its range takes in both laminate and luxury vinyl floors.
Laid with care, then covered by our warranty
Mohawk's RevWood instructions start with inspecting each plank and blending planks from several cartons at once, so color and shade mix evenly across the room. Working to those instructions keeps your Mohawk RevWood warranty in force, and the team leader assigned to each install holds the work to the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
Mohawk's RevWood warranty covers the laminate itself, and Mohawk's brochure says it does not extend to installer workmanship. Our own warranty on the installation has two sets of terms, depending on who supplied the laminate: 2 years on material and 2 years on labor if we supplied it and installed it, or 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date if you bought it elsewhere.
