Mohawk's warranty on the floor, ours on the install
Mohawk's wood warranty covers the flooring when it goes down according to Mohawk's written installation instructions. We install to those instructions, which is what keeps your Mohawk warranty in force.
Mohawk's brochure also says its warranties do not extend to installer workmanship, so we put our own installation warranty on top. When you buy the hardwood from us and we install it, you get 2 years on material and 2 years on labor. When we install hardwood you bought elsewhere, you get 1 year on material and 1 year on labor from the installation date.
