The Mohawk carpets we sell
We sell Mohawk's SmartStrand and EverStrand carpet as an authorized Mohawk retailer. Mohawk aims SmartStrand at homes kept busy by kids and pets. It is made with Mohawk's Triexta fibers, and Mohawk says its built-in cleanability and durability are "proven to perform beautifully for years."
EverStrand starts life as recycled plastic bottles. Mohawk gathers and washes the bottles, then remakes them into PET fiber through its patented Continuum process, and says the result is soft underfoot and easy to care for.
Each Mohawk carpet's warranty is stated on the back of its store sample, which lets you compare coverage before you decide.
Installed by professionals, warranted by us
Mohawk puts installation on the same level as the carpet itself. Its warranty brochure says proper installation matters as much as the carpet's original quality and durability, and says owners must have a professional installer do the work to keep warranty coverage. Meeting Mohawk's warranty requirements also means installing the carpet over a cushion that meets Mohawk's minimums, and a team leader keeps every carpet job inside the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.
The installation work is covered by our own warranty. When we supply the carpet and install it, that means 2 years on material and 2 years on labor. When you bring carpet from somewhere else, it means 1 year on material and 1 year on labor, starting on the installation date.
Buying carpet, with or without our install
Your carpet can be bought and installed through us, bought elsewhere and installed by us, or bought from us for you or your own crew to install. Measuring is part of the free estimate, and you can see carpet selections at our showroom, 7949 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 106, in Jacksonville, by appointment.
