What Our Clients Say
Unedited reviews from Northeast Florida homeowners. We hold a 5.0 rating across 40 Google reviews — the highest of any flooring company in the local market.
Hardwood for Orange Park homes from the 1970s on
Orange Park's housing has a median build year of 1974, and an estimated 1,284 of the town's homes went up during the 1970s.
If you own one of those houses and the floor is ready for a change, hardwood brings real wood grain into the rooms you use every day. We can pull up what's there now, replace it and install the new floor as one job, so you deal with a single company from start to finish.

Mohawk's TecWood line, or wood from another store
As an authorized Mohawk retailer, we carry TecWood, Mohawk's engineered hardwood line. Mohawk says TecWood is responsibly sourced and delivers the color, pattern, grain and texture of natural hardwood, adding value and beauty to a home.
Hardwood picked up at a different store is welcome too, and we'll handle the installation.
Our installation warranty sits on top of Mohawk's
Mohawk's TecWood warranty on the floor itself depends on installation that follows Mohawk's written instructions, and that's how we put TecWood in. Mohawk's wood warranty brochure says its warranties don't extend to installer workmanship, so we cover our own work. Our terms depend on who supplies the wood. If we provide the hardwood and install it, you get 2 years on material and 2 years on labor; if you provide it, you get 1 year on material and 1 year on labor, counted from the installation date.
An experienced team leader supervises each installation and holds it to the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.

Pick how you buy
You choose how much of the job we take on. We can sell you the hardwood and lay it, lay hardwood you already own, or sell it to you so you or a hired crew can put it down. Whichever you pick, the estimate and the in-home measure cost nothing. Our Jacksonville showroom at 7949 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 106, is open by appointment when you want to look at floors in person.
How a Hardwood Flooring Job Runs
No surprises and no pressure. Here is exactly what happens, in the order it happens.
Free in-home estimate
We come out, measure the actual rooms, and look at what is under your current floor. Measuring off a floor plan is how jobs end up short on material.
Moisture and subfloor check
We test the slab or subfloor for moisture and check it for flatness before anything is ordered. In this climate that reading decides which products are safe to install.
Written estimate
You get the material, the labor, the removal and haul-away, and the prep work itemized — so you can see what you are paying for and compare it honestly.

For its RevWood and TecWood floors, Mohawk's care guidance recommends absorbent mats just inside each outside door to trap the grit and moisture that outdoor mats leave behind. Mohawk adds that the mats need cleaning on both sides, the floor beneath them needs cleaning too, and rubber mats should be avoided.
